Get Organized with Kyla

Founder

From a young age, I had an eye for order and a natural passion for helping people create calm and clarity in their spaces. My parents were the first to notice how I would meticulously organize my room, color-code my closet, and create systems around the house. They encouraged me to use that gift to serve others—and that’s when Get Organized with Kyla (GO-K) was born.

I launched my business at age 14, helping one of my mom’s friends organize her home. Once I got my driver’s license, I officially kicked things off, offering organizing services across Colorado Springs and growing entirely through word of mouth. Today, I’ve served over 50 clients and counting, ranging from closets and kitchens to garages and storage rooms, all with the mission of helping people reclaim their space, time, and peace of mind.

My work is about more than just organizing—it is about empowering others to live with intention. Each project is tailored to the individual, focusing on functionality, flow, and long-term systems that truly make life easier. I’m now working on expanding GO-K to California, with exciting plans underway to bring this same level of personalized, heart-led organizing to new clients on the West Coast.

Project Management: Starting Get Organized with Kyla required me to manage multiple organizing projects from beginning to end. I developed timelines, customized plans for each space, and coordinated schedules to ensure every job was completed efficiently and to the client’s satisfaction. This experience taught me how to break down complex tasks, set clear goals, and keep projects on track.

Client Relations: Building strong, trusting relationships with my clients has been a cornerstone of my business. I consistently listened to their needs, offered personalized solutions, and maintained clear communication throughout the organizing process. This not only ensured customer satisfaction but also led to word-of-mouth referrals and repeat business.

Skills

Efficiency: Organizing homes demands practical and time-saving solutions. I learned how to maximize both physical space and productivity, applying systems that save my clients time and reduce stress. Running my business taught me how to work smart, stay focused, and prioritize what matters most.

Decision Making: From selecting the right organizing tools to advising clients on what to keep or let go, I’ve had to make quick and confident decisions. Managing the business also meant making strategic choices about pricing, scheduling, and marketing, which sharpened my ability to assess situations and take action.

Attention to Detail: Effective organizing is all about the little things—labeling, alignment, color coordination, and placement. I take pride in creating aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces that reflect each client’s lifestyle. This detail-oriented mindset has carried over into every part of my business, from client communication to branding.
