Fauxnomenal Designs

As an interior design intern at Fauxnomenal Designs, I played a hands-on role in supporting residential and commercial design projects from concept to completion. I assisted with unboxing, organizing, and placing furniture and décor at various client sites, ensuring each space reflected the brand’s high design standards. My contributions to the staging process—combined with a sharp eye for detail and aesthetic consistency—helped enhance the overall visual impact of every project.

I also participated in the design development process by reviewing blueprints, selecting materials, and helping align project decisions with the client’s unique vision and preferences. One of the highlights of my internship included helping decorate a luxury apartment complex, where I contributed to creating inviting, elevated model units and common areas.

Architectural and Interior Design Exposure: Working closely with a professional designer gave me hands-on experience in both architectural and interior design processes. I assisted in sourcing materials, decorating spaces, and reviewing floor plans, which deepened my understanding of space planning, aesthetics, and design functionality. This experience sparked my appreciation for intentional design and detail-oriented project execution.

Administrative Assistance: As an intern at Fauxnomenal Designs, I supported day-to-day operations by assisting with tasks beyond the typical desk role. I helped build furniture, maintain the showroom's appearance, and ensured the workspace remained tidy and functional for the lead designer. This hands-on experience taught me the importance of creating an efficient and organized environment that supports productivity and professionalism in a creative studio.

Creative Problem Solving: In a boutique design environment, I quickly learned how to adapt and find solutions when things didn’t go as planned—whether it was reconfiguring a furniture setup or responding to last-minute client requests. This cultivated my ability to stay calm under pressure, think critically, and support the team with flexibility and initiative.
