Meet Kyla Barrett

To me, True and Intentional Living means staying grounded in your values, walking in faith, and making choices that reflect who you are, and who you are becoming. It’s about showing up with integrity, consistency, and grace.

I was raised in the mountains of Colorado Springs in a close-knit community, and my roots have always reminded me of the importance of balance and gratitude. I’ve carried those values with me to Southern California, where I recently completed my college journey at the University of San Diego.

Athletics have played a major role in my life. From club volleyball and varsity tennis to golf and rowing at the NCAA Division I level, sports taught me discipline, resilience, and how to work with others toward a shared goal. At the same time, my semester abroad in Florence, Italy, where I successfully planned and booked travel to 10 different countries, opened my eyes to new cultures and gave me a greater understanding of how we’re all connected.

Driven by my love for organization and purpose, I started Get Organized with Kyla to help others create peace and productivity in their lives. I believe the spaces we live in should support the life we want to lead.

Above all, my faith anchors me. I thank God daily for the journey I’m on and the people He’s placed in my life. My goal is to live with intention, lead with love, and grow into the woman I was created to be.

My passion

My passion stems from my deep desire to live with purpose, clarity, and authenticity. Not just for myself, but to inspire people around me to do the same. I also do not want to just go through the motions, rather I strive to think about what’s in my food, how the environment affects my wellbeing, how my actions impact others, and how my values align with what I choose to pursue. That shows in: My health journey—facing gut issues and turning that struggle into advocacy for informed eating and transparency in labeling. My organization business—helping people create space and order so they can live more peacefully and purposefully. My faith and family values—grounding yourself in what matters most, staying true to your morals and nurturing relationships. My sustainability efforts—living in a way that respects the Earth and future generations, choosing mindful practices over convenience. My passion for intentional living is about making choices that align with my values—health, simplicity, authenticity, and care for others—so life isn’t just full, but fulfilling.

My values

Commitment, resilience, and loyalty are my main values. I believe in showing up fully, in my relationships, my work, and my faith, no matter the circumstances. I value integrity, compassion, and personal growth, always seeking to do the right thing even when it’s not the easiest path. I strive to lead by example, not just speak about my values but actively live them out through consistency, humility, and intentional action.

My mission

My mission is to serve and uplift those around me by bringing light, positivity, and meaningful impact into every interaction. I aim to create spaces—both physical and emotional—that inspire clarity, confidence, and joy. I embrace every opportunity that comes my way and view each experience as a chance to grow, learn, and make a difference.
